The Third Russian Diagnostic Summit took place in Moscow at the Crocus Expo exhibition center from October 4th to October 6th, 2023. It brought together several major events:
This year, the interdisciplinary focus of the scientific program of the Summit was the topic of inflammation as a leitmotif of diagnostics. Experts at the discussions examined various pathological processes both from the angle of their specialization and from the point of view of general problems of diagnostic services. Other key topics of the Summit included: current issues of molecular diagnostics, genetics and immunology, radiation, ultrasound, functional and radionuclide diagnostics, hematology and hemostasis, microbiological research and infectious diseases, quality assurance and adequate interpretation of the results, as well as problems of education and training, organization and economics of diagnostic services, circulation of medical devices.
The scientific and educational program took place in 19 parallel halls and included numerous multidisciplinary discussions and specialized sections on pathomorphology, radiology, preanalytics, clinical cytology, analytical chemistry and drug monitoring, master classes on ultrasound research and schools for x-ray technicians.
Over three days of work, more than 200 scientific and educational events took place: forums, conferences, consultation sessions, seminars, discussions, round tables and master classes. The Summit was moderated and presented by 750 experts and leaders in the field of medical diagnostics. The number of visitors hit a record – 11,923 specialists. The exhibition exposition exceeded the area of 16,000 square meters.
RDS-LAB took part in the exhibition program of the Summit within the framework of the exhibition space “DIAGNOPOLIS” at the collective exposition of PharmMedProm. RDS-LAB is working on the implementation of innovative methods and technologies in close cooperation with professional communities and takes an active part in educational events. The mission of RDS-LAB is development and implementation of diagnostic products and solutions for laboratory medicine.
